Special Sea
Our Residence is away about 50 meters from the splendid beach of Deiva Marina. A wide beach with bathing establishments equips and a free beach with possibility of chartering sea-bed and beach umbrellas. For who wants to enjoy our sea, more times rewarded with the blue flag, we put to disposition for our hosts fishing rods, masks, fins and materassini.
Moto e Bike
The coast offers to the lovers of the MTB routes of great landscaped, cultural and naturalistic beauty. All the landscape of Liguria offer to bikers a lot of wonderful routes. In order to make use of these wonderful routes we put to disposition of all the customers a range width of mountain bikes, a workshop for ordinary maintenances on the bikes, and a garage for the shelter also of motorcycles, a self service laundry and maps of the more beautiful routes.
Trekking
The Residence Kriss is in the center of county rich of routes to make trekking and it can be an optimal point of departure for your walks. Near the reception you will find useful informative material in the choice of the distances of trekking. Particolar fascination reserves the paths that carry from Marine Deiva to Framura.
La Cucina Ligure
The Ligurian Cousine is intelligent and careful, able to take advantage of every element that the earth, the sea and the job of the man produce. In this region, wide plains do not exist and therefore they are not present breedings of cattle.
In the popular cousine, therefore, there isn’t a large use of pork and cattle meat.
In Liguria grows domestic and wild grass like the rosmarino, the maggiorana, the thymus, salvia, the borragine and an exceptional basil, from the leaves wide and perfumed that it is the ingredient base for a green sauce that has gone around of the world: the “pesto”.
In a region where sea and mountain are met are present a various kind of plates. Many from earth like troffie, farinata, genovere trippa or mesciua of La Spezia. But there are also sea plate like anchovies, small white fishies, moon fish, golden fish, branzini.
Typical products
Although the number of the typical products of the zone it is not particularly big, the quality turns out however to be very elevate. In particular, wine and anchovies, that represent the more interesting productions, catch up high standards of quality.
In the Cinque Terre, grapes and olive trees, come from Val di Vara to search a more adaptive climate.
The wine that results from the combination of climate and this country is a wine rich of scent and taste.
The inhabitants of this place have known to value a poor fish (anchovies) in a delicious tipical product.
Expecilly in Monterosso, there was an ancient tradition of making limonciono liqueur; today, because of the lessening of the number of lemon trees, the production of lemoncino has been reduced.
The most famous products of this zone are: Monterosso anchovies, Cinque Terre DOC wine, Sciacchetrà DOC wine and the famous pesto. |
